Yes, fishing on April 1st...my earliest open water fishing ever. We had 50-60 degree temps...Fishing is open on Namakan (Border Water unitl 4/15 for walleyes & year around for Northerns)...wow, not another boat fishing all day! Eagles flying, walleye fishing...does it get any better? Not with this scenery...you need to get up here.
We caught walleyes, perch, and numerous northerns...but a 41 inch FAT Pike hit my jig in 35 ft. of water and the battle was on...I love catching fish! This one was fun, and back in the water for you!
